MIRRORS

DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF DINNER GUESTS... ADD MIRRORS

Arrow Glass stocks 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch clear mirror
and 1/4-inch transparent mirror.

COMMON USES:

A mirrored wall, especially using clear mirror, adds brightness and makes any room feel larger. Mirrors are especially elegant in dining rooms. We suggest that simplicity with mirrors creates the best overall impression. The moderate use of beveled strips to hide seams between individual mirror panels can accent the overall ambience of a room. Our experience shows that an odd number of panels on a wall (3, 5, 7) have a dynamic aesthetic effect rather than a static feeling as associated with an even (2, 4, 6) number of panels. Odd numbers of mirrored panels are more alluring and interesting to the eye. It's difficult to estimate a price without seeing the job. Call Arrow for a free estimate.

Transparent mirror: Transparent or two-way mirror works best when there is a big difference of amount of light between the two areas. The brighter the "public" area compared to the "viewing" area, the better the two-way mirror works. The cost is $14.95 per square foot, cut to your size.

Truck and car mirror installation: If your inside mirror has become unglued we will reinstall and reglue for $5. If the mirror is broken, the typical cost is $25 to replace it.

Vanity mirrors: Vanity mirrors are typically 42 inches high. The best-looking installation is to put what we call J molding on the bottom (brass or silver) and leave a clean seamed edge at the top. Cost is $6.20 per square foot for the mirror plus labor. Labor depends on the size. We will measure the exact wall-to-wall size and give you an exact quote.
